I was just saying in general. I don't think I can convert her to the dark side (carnivorous). She did that for a while after meeting my son...she gains weight when she eats meat and dairy.

Ellen...Matt is 25, too. Tim and I agree that when his contract is up he is on his own for the phone. Well, Tim says he agrees and will tell him, but it will probably fall to me. Tim does everything he can to avoid being the bad guy. He also wants to be able to reach the kids no matter what and if we aren't paying for the phone, that might not be the case. That's why it's gone on for so long now.Stacyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06316595488903619354noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4327115642045835307.post-73934265864744877012011-10-11T07:16:39.419-04:002011-10-11T07:16:39.419-04:00My son was a vegetarian for a few years, but he ke...My son was a vegetarian for a few years, but he kept his views to himself. This makes me mean since he's a broke grad student. But he's also 25, so he gets it.

You are very generous with your children!Ellen aka Elliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17892924619560880572noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4327115642045835307.post-38633263796594523192011-10-11T06:21:38.278-04:002011-10-11T06:21:38.278-04:00Oh good - I'm not the only one who posts H.I.O...Oh good - I'm not the only one who posts H.I.O.Tuesday early!

The next time your daughter-in-law starts carrying on about veganism, just turn it around - do a bit of research and start trying to convert her to an absolutely carnivorous lifestyle.

When she flips out about it (and she will) just tell her that's how you feel about being preached to.Mehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13294068266525262150noreply@blogger.com
