Unless you live under a rock, you know that there are those among us who believe the world as we know it is going to come to a screeching halt today, that you had better be ready to meet your maker because the day is upon us.
I am NOT one of those people. I believe that day is coming, but not today. It can't.....I have stuff in the cupboard that doesn't expire until 2013. But seriously, the Bible tells us we cannot know the hour or the day. We are just to live our lives so as to be prepared at all times to face the One who created us.
So, if like me you're not busy getting ready to meet Jesus today and find this whole business of everyone predicting Armageddon every time you turn around kind of funny (in a sad way).....you'll probably find this amusing just like I did.

Is the rapture really why you warned us there would be fewer posts? Hm?
Ohhh...somebody's finally trusting her funny! ;)
I think these people who are convinced that Armageddon is coming, don't have a loving and personal relationship with God as they see it...It's actually very sad (although your photo is funny ;) that these doomsayers have to preach about fear and hate because of all the "sins" that humanity has committed. Uh, goes against everything that Jesus preached about in my eyes...
Hilarious pictures! I wish that instead of them spreading their "rapture" theory, that they could've used some of the money to bail out some of the financial issues that the U.S. is dealing with.
Wendy....I believe it's coming some day because the Bible says so, but these wacko's go about it ALL wrong and they are the type that give the rest of Christianity a bad name. And as for saying flat out it's happening today...the Bible tells us we won't know ahead of time. You can't just pick and choose Scripture...it all works together.
ChocolateCoveredDaydream....now there's a novel idea. Spending money on something that makes sense! Could you imagine?
"There is none, no not one ... " according to the Bible, not even Jesus knows the appointed hour of the Rapture. Given that very clear statement, why would that wannabe pastor actually think he had been given the date? He certainly thinks highly of himself, doesn't he?
Quilly...it never ceases to amaze me how people pick and choose and twist only the parts of the Bible that work to their advantage rather than taking it as a whole.
