Hot! Hot! Hot!

There's not much on tap today, outside of trying to keep cool.  Temperatures are supposed to hit 90 (or beyond) again and here in SW Pennsylvania we tend to have humidity in spades, so.......blech!  Unless the heat and humidity ripens into thunderstorms I'm thinking you will find me floating in the pool with a good book this afternoon.

Yesterday, Megan and I picked my aunt up at the nursing home and took her to lunch.  Next Saturday is her 86th birthday and her oldest son's wife (technically...they haven't lived together for probably 15 years or more), two of her granddaughters, and her three great-grandchildren made the trip down from Erie to see her so I set up the lunch and we surprised her.  She was absolutely thrilled and it felt good to give her a nice day and make her so happy.
