Alive & Well

No, I haven't given up blogging or passed to the great beyond.  My computer issues this week took on a life of their own and I ended up having to get a whole new hard drive and just to make that more fun, NOTHING could be saved from the old one.  So, I am starting over from scratch.  I don't even know yet everything that was lost.  I'm figuring it out as I go to do something...and it isn't there.

On top of that, I was wrapped up in writing another paper for my Spiritual Formation class.  I had a tough time with it.  When I did finally get it written, I couldn't get it typed up and sent until I got my laptop back.  I ended up hitting "send" at 11:00 Thursday evening.  The deadline was 11:59.

I am breathing easier for a day or two.  I'm babysitting our granddaughter today.  Yea!  Our son and his wife will come tonight and stay over and tomorrow we'll be celebrating Matt's 25th birthday (how did I get to be old enough to have a child that's 25????).  His birthday was actually last Sunday, but we had another function to go to and couldn't celebrate with him.  He's requested dinner at Red Lobster.

Well, much to do and I have to leave to pick up Beanie soon so will be back with regular posting soon!

Your family, your health, your education, and all take precedence over us. Welcome back, but feel free to break when you need to. We'll be here.

We miss you but life does take precedence over blogging! :) 18 days ... can you believe it!

Thank you, everyone. I missed you, too!

Beth....holy cow! It's getting close.

A computer crash and starting over from scratch, what a bummer!
Technology! That was a close call on getting your paper turned in. I'm glad you were able to turn it in.
Happy Birthday to your son. It's hard to believe we'll soon have a 30 year old son. Where has the time gone? I feel younger than I am.

I feel your pain. I've had to start over too and thankfully, I'm writing the manuscript with my twin sister or I'd be in big trouble. She has the materials on her computer as well. Enjoy celebrating your son's birthday. My oldest just turned 24. Time sure flies.

Michelle...It was close and STRESSFUL! I'm with you, I don't feel at all like I'm 47. In my head I don't feel much different than I did at 20. Sadly, the body does.

Chocolate Covered Daydreams...I'm thinking zip drives are going to become my best friend...no more lost info. I'm so excited for you that you're finally getting to write that book!
