30 Days of Thankfulness - Day 7

Today I choose to be thankful for my computer, the internet, blogging, and all the social medias.  They have all become such an ingrained part of my life that I have a hard time imagining life without it for any amount of time.  When something happens to the computer and I'm "disconnected" for just a week or so.....it's horrible!

Yes, I probably am at least a bit of an addict (Hello. My name is Stacy and I have a Facebook problem.) but there are so many good things the internet and all of it's tools have brought us.  I stay in touch with cousins that I really didn't have much contact with before.  I've reconnected with a lot of the "kids" that were in the youth group when I was the leader.  I've reconnected with people from high school and even become friends with some who weren't friends back then.  There are so many ways to use the internet for ministry and last, but not least, I have friends from all over the world that wouldn't be part of my life if not for the internet and blogging.

Who could have imagined how the personal computer would change our lives in such a short time?  So yes, I love my computer and all my computer friends and I'm thankful for the world at my fingertips.

Hi Stacy,

Good to *see* you this morning! I am a bit of an addict too! LOL

Been reading some of your older posts, catching up on the great time you and Beth had! Wow, what a trip!

Glad you are an OU fan! You rock, girl! Love it!

Blessings,
Cheryl

Yes I am thankful for Facebook also. It helps me keep in touch with my brothers. It is nice to get on there and see how they are doing.
