2. What's something you learned from your own father?
~ I learned a lot of valuable things from my dad, the two biggies would be...
- If a job is worth doing, it's worth doing well. Why bother doing a job at all if you're going to do it poorly? Not too many people seem to get this today.
- If you want something, WORK for it. Nobody owes you anything. Again, something few seem to grasp in today's world.
~ Either chocolate or marble...with whipped icing. Buttercream is just too sweet and heavy.

Hey chocolate and cheese - you can't go wrong. sandie
Everyone sure does like their chocolates cakes today! That is a wonderful quote.
I have always wanted to visit Chincoteague. Something about the ponies I guess. Hope you have a great time.
Sandie...Yeah, but not together! Or maybe...
Debby...Chocolate cake, it goes with everything. ;)
Susan...I read "Misty of Chincoteague" when I was around 9 years old. I found out about a year later that it was true and I started dreaming about going then. I had to wait until I was married and in my later 20s to get there but I loved it so much we go back every few years. This will be our first time being there for the pony swim, though. I'm so excited...it's a bucket list item.
I think we're a similar generation. Probably more like us than it seems, maybe just not as vocal and/or not in the media : )
