Ahhh....over the hump day of a short work week. Gotta love that. Get through today, early dismissal tomorrow, then off till Monday. It would have been nice to have Monday and Tuesday off as originally planned, but better to make up some of those snow days now than in the summer.
I'm not even remotely ready for Easter at this point, but I'm really looking forward to this weekend. Friday night we're going to see Jeff Foxworthy, Bill Engvall and Larry the Cable Guy in Pittsburgh at the new Consol Energy Center (home of the Penguins if you're a hockey fan). Some time Saturday our son and his family are coming home. When depends on whether he can get the day off or not. If he can, they plan to be here to attend church with us (their idea!!). Sunday, of course, will be the family dinner and baskets and an egg hunt for Sora (weather permitting).
My Bible study group met last night to discuss the lesson I shared about the other day. It was a good meeting...very encouraging to find others struggling with the same issues (I hate feeling like I'm the only one) and get insight and advice from women I admire.
Well, I need to head to work so I can fuel my bus before another thunderstorm hits (will they ever end??). So, let me leave you with today's Song Challenge....
Day 20: A song that you listen to when you’re angry.
day 21 – a song that you listen to when you’re happy
day 22 – a song that you listen to when you’re sad
day 23 – a song that you want to play at your wedding
day 24 – a song that you want to play at your funeral
day 25 – a song that makes you laugh
day 26 – a song that you can play on an instrument
day 27 – a song that you wish you could play
day 28 – a song that makes you feel guilty
day 29 – a song from your childhood
day 30 – your favorite song at this time last year

Egg hunts can happen inside too!
Have fun at the comedy concert. My husband would love to see Jeff Foxworthy live.
I've seen those guys before and you are in for a laugh treat.
You are going to have so much fun seeing Jeff Foxworthy. I have always wanted to go to one of those shows.
Hope you have a wonderful Easter.
Have a blessed weekend! I don't think anyone around here takes Good Friday off. Took me a minute to figure out why you had a long weekend!
For some reason I have trouble e-mailing you. More than half the time things bounce back as undeliverable. So ... I will comment! :) Wanted you to know about a Community Forum (born on twitter ... do you tweet?) for women going to Relevant who are trying to lose weight before the Conference. It's at http://www.eatpraylose.net/ . I can't remember exactly what you click on to join ... Join, Log-In, Community Forum, something like that. It will take you to a Wordpress log-in page. Choose a user name and leave your e-mail address. A password will be mailed to you. Log in using that password and you can go to your "profile" to choose a new one that you will remember. LOL. Then come to the Community Forum and introduce yourself. Easier than I made it sound. Honest!
I'm not a bit ready for Easter but I'm more than ready for a long weekend!
Have fun Friday. I'll bet you'll laugh yourself silly.
Yay for long weekends and time spent having fun! Bring kleenex for laughing at the comedy show!
Sorry your Spring Break has been shortened, but better it than Summer! I know that when I was teaching I was always out of town and headed some place fun within hours of locking my classroom!
Ellen...I'm thinking we may give that a go, but I'm worried about the hound snuffing out the eggs and trying to get what's in them.
Ellen, Coffeypot, Debbie & Rochelle...thanks all for the wishes for fun tomorrow night. I am sure I will laugh until it hurts. Those guys kill me!
Beth...I don't know why that would happen?? I'm all signed up at the site. :)
Chocolate Covered Daydreams...Yea, indeed for long weekends! Kleenex for sure!
Quilly...I hear that. Once that bus is parked you'd better not get between me and my car! LOL
I love Jeff Foxworthy! I bet it's going to be a fantastic show! Enjoy!
Thanks, Sandra. I love the Blue Collar guys and I love to laugh. Works out well that way. I intend to laugh my arse off (oh, if only it were that easy to lose).
