Saturday Morning Tidbits

To update you on yesterday's happenings...

The gyno visit went well.  Doc says everything seems fine.  He put me back on the Provera, though....says it's too early for me to go into menopause.  Darn.  Just have to wait on the pap results (and get a mammogram).  If that comes back negative I'm good for another year.

My pedicure went well, too.  The kid who did it really knows how to massage feet.  I was putty in his hands.  It wasn't awkward, either...well, not any more so than with anyone you don't know.  We hit it off and it turns out I went to school with his aunt and he's my neighbor...lives about four houses down the back alley from me.  And no, he isn't gay....so it's a really good thing I wasn't wanting a bikini wax.

The day is looking gorgeous so far, but the forecast is for storms later.  Yea (she said sarcastically) more rain!  I am off to Sam's Club with a friend this morning and then coming home to get materials for my "gardener."  LOL  Actually, we hired an Hispanic guy from church who's been laid off from the landscaping company he worked for to do some work around the yard.  Tim doesn't have time right now and it helps Efran and his family out.  I am so excited.  The propane company finally came and took their giant tank out of the yard yesterday so Efran is going to work on installing my fish pond.  I bought the kit 3 or 4 years ago at Sam's Club and it's been sitting around the yard ever since waiting for Tim to have time or to feel like doing it or whatever the hold up has been.  Efran's cousin, Tony, is going to clean out the flower beds and dig out a bush that I actually love, but it's grown too big for where it is.....and Tim cut it way back this Spring and it looks really awful now.

Church later.

You all have a wonderful day!

I woke up with a list a mile long of have to do's. I'm looking forward to a list of want to do's. That starts Wednesday.

Just so tired from these last few days, and tearful that I can't (shouldn't) try to go donate blood.

Sigh.

Have a great day! Bring those hard workers some lemonade!
