Full of Hodgey Podgey Goodness

1. What is the most useful book in your house?
~ If you ask me, it's the Bible followed by the dictionary.  If you ask Tim, it's the phone book.  If you ask Megan...."Book?  Those are those kinda square, heavy things with all the words.  Right??"

2. What's worse-being too hot or too cold?~ Being "just right" because then some little blonde twerp comes along and eats your dinner.  ;)  But seriously.....too hot is worse.  When you're hot you get all sweaty and feel cruddy and there is only so much you can take off without being arrested.  When you're cold, it's miserable, but you don't feel dirty and nobody cares if you throw on another layer.  You can keep adding clothes until you look like the little brother in "A Christmas Story."  You know...the one who can't put his arms down.

3. Share something that made you smile this past weekend.
~ Easy-peasy....my granddaughter.  We got to spend Sunday afternoon with her at a family picnic.

4. How do you like your hamburgers? Or don't you?
~ Medium-well with cheese, lettuce, tomato, and ketchup (which HAS to be on the bottom of the burger).

5. What's your summer beach read? If it's not summer in your part of the world then tell us what book you're reading in front of the fire while sipping hot cocoa.
~ I've already read several books this summer.  The latest was "The Devil Colony" by James Rollins.

6. How was your birthday celebrated when you were a kid?
~ It wasn't really.  I got a card and a gift from my parents.  Usually I got a card and gift from my grandparents'.  I had one party for my 7th birthday.

7. What's something that is totally uncool that you love anyway?
~ My husband.  He's a total dork, but he's my dork.

8. Insert your own random thought here.
~ Paddle faster...I hear banjos!

Ketchup on the bottom? Explain.

It has to be under the burger with everything else on top. I HATE it when I get a burger at McD's or somewhere and they blop it on top of the lettuce. Ketchup must be in contact with the meat. LOL

Just turn that burger upside down, girly! Loved your answers ... especially your random thought!

I just got a bigger copy of the image that you liked and tweaked it for a matching header and blog button if you like. If not ... no biggie! I just like playing! :) They should be in your e-mail.

Lol love your last answer. Made me crack up. My husband has been to that area where they shot that movie. He said yes it was like that. He could not wait to get out of there.

I'm with you on #1, definitely the Bible followed by the dictionary.

And, yes, I'd so much rather be too cold than too hot and just add more layers.

LOL @ #9! Too funny.

This post made me giggle.

I remember looking and feeling like that little boy when I was young! I have a pic of my oldest daughter in a pink snowsuit with her arms stuck straight out :)

Yay banjos!

I prefer to be too hot. I hate chattering when I'm cold.
