My First Follow Friday Fill-In

Photobucket

Trying another new blog hop today.  This one's called Follow Friday Four Fill-In Fun.  It comes from Hilary @ Feeling Beachie.  Every Friday she gives four statements with blanks left in for participants to fill-in on their blogs.  Just click the picture or the link to join in or view others who are playing along.

This week's statements:

1.       I always forget___
2.       I never __without___
3.      Recently I started to _____, and it has helped tremendously!
4.      If I had to find a date, the last place I would look for one is _______.

My answers:

1.  I always forget garbage day.  I am always running because I hear the truck coming and remember the cans aren't out.
2.  I never start my day without a Coke or Diet Coke.  Gotta have my caffeine and I don't drink coffee.
3.  Recently I started to try to pray about everything, and it has helped tremendously!
4.  If I had to find a date, the last place I would look for one is where I work. Geezers and characters.  The only slightly appealing one (to me) is a year younger than my son (yikes!).  So glad I'm not looking.

Brad and I met on Match.com. Trust me I had a lot of frogs I chose not to kiss before meeting him there! ;)

I haven't seen anyone that appeals to me where I work either!

Getting involved with someone at work is messy business.... it becomes awkward really fast!

Yay on #3! Good for you! Had to laugh about forgetting to put out the garbage can - it's happened to me too!

Have a great weekend!

Glad you joined in. Running after the garbage truck is not easy. Put a note up somewhere you don't forget. You have a smart phone, set you clock to remind you on the night before!! So glad your prayers has helped. I need to follow you on praying.

I have to have my caffeine too. I am not a morning person and the coffee helps a little.

I'd never remember garbage vs. recycling day either. which is why I make the Mr. do it.

I always pray first. never failed yet.

Ellen...I did not know this! Were the frogs on Match.com too?

My Kid's Mom...If I was the last woman on Earth and I had to choose a man from work to start repopulating the planet with...kiss the human race goodbye!

Brenda...It sure can, but I did meet my husband at work. We'll be celebrating our 28th anniversary this year. :)

Arlene...Thank you and the same to you.

Debby...I didn't know you were doing this one! The note might help. My cell phone is not a smart phone. It's what the kids on the bus call a stupid phone. LOL

Rochelle...I hear ya, and I think we've commiserated on the caffeine thing before. Like minds...

RoryBore...The husband's rememberer is worse than mine. LOL I pray a lot, too, but I'm trying to do like my friend and teacher and ask about EVERYTHING...like even if it's his will for me to go to the store. My rememberer doesn't always remember that either.

We forget garbage day too! Not fun trying to rush and beat the truck in the morning!

Happy Friday! :)

I have started praying out loud. I figure I talk out loud when I talk to myself so I might as well talk to God the same way! I forget about trash day but then again, J is the one that remembers. :)

#4 is such great advice... I think it is aweful when people mix work & reltionships... it never works out well.... something always has to give (the relationship or the job). Thanks for joining the hop!

Stacey...It's especially fun when I'm getting home from work in the mornings, see the truck, and race to beat it to my house. LOL

Sandie...I'm trying to just shoot up little one sentence prayers about EVERYTHING all through the day. The bible says our whole lives should be prayer.

Simone...I pray out loud when I'm home alone or in the car. It's up for grabs when you see my lips moving at the stop light whether I'm praying or singing along to the radio. :)

Hilary...The hubs and I never got to find out if working at the same place would work out or not. It was back in 1984 and the country was in a recession then and we got laid off at the same time...right before the wedding. :(
