1. What's something you miss about the 1980's? If you're too young to miss the 80's how about the 90's?
~ Hmmm...well, it's not big hair, parachute pants or shoulder pads.  Could be college life.  But I think I'm going to go with the music.  We were the first MTV generation and music was changing in the early 80's.  I was riding the New Wave.  And yes....I did see Adam in concert.

2. Do you have a library card? If so, how often do you visit?
~ I do, but I'm pretty sure it's expired.  I haven't been there since the kids were still in school.

3. What's the secret to success?
~ Knowing that it's okay to have dreams and work to make them come true, but also knowing not to let the things of the world take over your life.  You have to know how to be content with what you have, where you are or it won't matter what you've got...you'll always want more.

4. This is National Backyard Games week...what's your favorite backyard game?
~ Badminton or I used to love flashlight tag.

5. If I dropped by today what would I find on your coffee table?
~ Books, magazines, coasters....probably a little dust.

6. Do you own a bicycle? When was the last time you rode a bicycle? Is that something you enjoy?
~ I actually donated mine to a guy who refurbishes bikes and gives them or sells them cheap to families who can't afford to buy bikes for their kids.  I do like to ride, but only do it at the beach.  Easier to just rent one there.

7. What's your favorite cheese?
~ It's a toss up between swiss and port wine cheddar.

8. Insert your own random thought here.
~ 2 1/2 more days on the regular bus route then one week of just the private school.....and then I am FREE for the summer!

Brad loves port wine cheddar. He was always talking about this cheese his family would eat at Christmas, describing it as coming in a stoneware crock. I knew just what it was, and I would tell him, but he didn't think I had the name right.

Then last summer, I was in a different grocery store than my usual, and I found it. He was so delighted, a taste of childhood! He has been buying it ever since.

I love cheese!

Oh, goodness, guess I'm showing my ignorance but I've never heard of Adam Ant and I was very much alive and well in the 80's. :o)

Great answers and enjoying stopping by. Happy rest of the week!

Woo hoo for summer. After driving a bus full of kids all school year, you deserve a tropical island vacation. I miss the 80's music too. I hated shoulder pads but the parachute pants were pretty comfy.

Thank you for always sharing yourself on my blog. I appreciate you very much.

Wendy...Yeah, Adam Ant. Thought he was the bomb back in the day. I like the bike guy, too. I donated mine after reading about him in the paper.

Ellen...Brad has good taste. :) I used to love to dip my big, hard, sour dough pretzels in the port wine cheddar. My favorite college snack.

CiCi...Don't feel bad. Other than that one song, he wasn't exactly main stream. His other stuff was pretty punk.

Beth...Amen, Sister!

Simone...Comfy yes, attractive...Noooooo! LOL Awww, thanks for the sweet words. I appreciate you, too. :)

Sandi...They do indeed. They're making me crazy! ;D

Debby...I'll let you in on a secret, I loved being a youth leader because it gave me an excuse to play games like flashlight tag and dodge ball. LOL

Marti...Thank you.

Flashlight tag! I hadn't thought of that in years. We used to have big games of that one in our neighborhood. It was scary fun. : )
